Eman Mourad

Some careers are built around a single path. Others evolve with every chapter, shaped by curiosity, courage, and the desire to create a greater impact. Eman Mourad’s journey belongs to the latter.

As Director of the Office of Student Services and Development at the American University in Cairo, Eman has spent more than a decade working at the intersection of education, leadership, and personal development. Since joining AUC in 2012, she has dedicated her career to creating meaningful student experiences and helping young people discover their potential beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

Her academic background in Political Science, complemented by a Master’s degree in Higher Education from AUC, provided a strong foundation for understanding institutions, people, and the environments that allow individuals to thrive. Yet, for Eman, professional fulfillment was never limited to one title or one industry.

Her longstanding passion for media eventually opened a new chapter. As a TV presenter on Hya Channel and host of “Hekayet Business,” she stepped into a different kind of leadership, one built around conversation and storytelling. Through the program, she brings the stories of women entrepreneurs to the forefront, exploring the challenges, choices, and determination behind their businesses and achievements.

What makes Eman’s journey particularly compelling is the connection between her two worlds. Whether she is supporting students in their development or giving entrepreneurs a platform to tell their stories, her work is ultimately centered on people: their ambitions, their challenges, and their ability to grow.

Her career offers a powerful perspective on success, not as a fixed destination, but as something that can be redefined throughout life. Eman Mourad continues to demonstrate that embracing a new chapter does not mean leaving the past behind; sometimes, it means using everything you have learned to create something even more meaningful.

Through education, leadership, and storytelling, she continues to create spaces where people feel seen, inspired, and empowered to take their next step.
