Yomna Sherif has built a dynamic career at the intersection of entertainment journalism, media, and public relations, establishing herself as a recognizable voice in the Arab entertainment industry. With experience spanning traditional newsrooms, international media operations, celebrity interviews, and digital storytelling, she brings a versatile perspective to the rapidly evolving world of entertainment media.

A graduate of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Misr University for Science and Technology, Yomna earned her Bachelor's degree in 2022 from the English Radio and Television Department. Her professional journey began earlier, in 2019, when she joined the media operations team during the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. Through her work with the Confederation of African Football, she supported journalist accreditation, international press conferences, and translation services in English and German, gaining valuable experience in international media environments.

Following her early experience, Yomna completed internships at Washousha Magazine and Al-Zaman Newspaper before joining Cairo 24. Over six years, she developed within the newsroom and eventually became Deputy Head of the Art News Department. During this period, she contributed to entertainment reporting, exclusive interviews, and coverage of major cultural and artistic events.

Her professional experience expanded through collaborations with leading regional media organizations, including Sky News Arabia and Laha Magazine. She later joined the Saudi newspaper Okaz as an Entertainment Journalist, continuing to cover the region's artists, films, music, festivals, and major entertainment developments.

Yomna's work extends beyond journalism. She has also worked in public relations, serving as PR Manager for prominent artists and entertainment events. Her experience includes coverage of major festivals in Egypt and abroad, including Mawazine, where she provided exclusive backstage coverage and interviews with leading artists.

Throughout her career, Yomna has interviewed some of the Arab entertainment industry's most prominent figures, including Sherine Abdel Wahab, Yousra, Ragheb Alama, Yasmine Sabri, and Mohamed Hamaki. These interviews have strengthened her reputation for professional communication, strong industry relationships, and an ability to engage leading figures in meaningful conversations.

She has also embraced digital media through Quiz Cairo 24, an entertainment program created and hosted from her own concept, as well as numerous celebrity interviews conducted through Instagram Live. These projects reflect her ability to adapt traditional entertainment journalism to new digital formats and changing audience expectations.
